My name is Attila Králl, professional modeller from Budapest, Hungary.
Let me share a couple of pictures with You about the model I have been working on since 2004.
Her details:
Name: Royal Yacht 'Caroline' - 1749
Materials: mostly walnut, maple and ebony, some other exotic wood types in certain details; brass and silver;
sculptures and relieves are made of gilded silver.
Scale: 1:24
Pictures at this post and those at the link below were made on 28 February 2010.
Full rigging and sails will be prepared; recently I am working on the sculptures - roughly 15% of them have been finished so far.
