Hello Oktay Master Narim Majgeldinov usually uses a special varnish for a covering wood (pear). This varnish is made of wood juice of tropical plants and spirit. I do not know the name of this varnish in English. We use a specific Russian word which has only the Russian name. This varnish was very widely used in the furniture industry in the past and now is actively used in the electrotechnical industry. Of this varnish make very thin isolation for a wire in electric motors. However at manufacturing models of the ships, it is possible to replace this varnish other substance. I use solutions and mastics on the basis of beeswax. Alexey Baranov

Friends, I am sorry for my English. I use the linguistic translator. Shellac is a varnish on the basis of vegetative pitches mixed with spirit. It is the ancient recipe, - all ancient models of a museum in St.-Petersburg are covered by Shellac. In Russia Shellac is on sale in shops for artists. It is on sale in a dry kind. It is necessary to plant it with pure spirit then you receive Shellac. Narim.
