Hello everyone.I have been a member for a while but I think it is about time I started participating.I do know a few faces from MSW and recognise the works of a good many I don't. I would like to say that I find the work of the modelers on this forum awe inspiring and they are the biggest influence in developing my own 'style'. I have recently started a new scratchbuild project,Royal William 1719 to the scale of 1/72.This will be constructed in Swiss Pear and Ebony and will be a fully framed model in the contemporary style.I am working to the Euromodel drawings and the many pictures of the four original Navy Board models still in existence of her. Unfortunately there are minor differences in detail between these models so some 'artistic license' will come in to play. I plan on starting a build log this weekend and I shall bring it up to the point of where I am today. Kind Regards Nigel |
